Our services
Fertilizer Applications
All fertilizers applied are in granular form and are child and pet friendly - we don't use anything that we would not on our own family's lawn. Fertilizer applications are included in our spring cleanup packages, but we can also add it on to any of your regularly scheduled lawn maintenance & mowing services throughout the season.

Weed Control Packages
We work closely with Nutri-lawn to offer one of the most effective weed controls on the market without harming your lawn. We coordinate the scheduling and booking with your lawn service to ensure optimal timing and no overlap in service (it is crucial not to mow on the same day as a weed control application). All weed control complies with local and provincial regulations, and is spot application is used to target each weed directly.

Basic Fertilizing Tips
We recommend fertilizing your lawn at a minimum in the Spring and Fall each year as those are the most beneficial times to promote growth. Additional applications during the summer can be beneficial depending on the individual conditions of the lawn as well as the weather we’re having in Calgary that Summer.
If you have an irrigation system or water regularly, are on a weekly lawn mowing schedule, and also power rake and aerate your lawn yearly, then fertilizing every 6 weeks throughout the growing season will definitely get you a thick, healthy, amazing looking lawn.
For properties without sprinkler systems or plans to water thoroughly within a few days, we’d recommend timing your fertilizing service when there is rain in the near forecast for best results. We use high quality slow release fertilizer that shouldn’t ever burn your lawn, but any fertilizer if left on your grass without water for extended periods of dry high heat conditions usually does more harm than good.
Fertilizing earlier in the summer is a great way to provide your lawn with the nutrients it needs to properly deal with the extended periods of intense heat and lack of rain we’ve had in Calgary in recent years. (Its much easier to prevent, than fix a lawn that is brown and dormant in the middle of the Summer).
