Winterizing Fertilizer

Winterizing fertilizer provides your lawn with extended release nutrients throughout the winter season, and a head start when growth resumes in Spring. (Starting at $45 +gst)

Final Lawn Cut and Trim

A final lawn mow ensures less matting and winter kill while your yard is buried in a layer of heavy snow. (Starting at $49 +gst)

Core Aeration

Aerating is often one of the most beneficial steps for improving the health of your lawn. Aeration in the fall is recommended and fosters strong grass root growth. Aeration is paired well with overseeding. (Starting at $89 +gst)

Overseeding

Overseeding ensures your lawn is full come Spring. We use a heavy application of premium grass seed product to help fill in thin and damaged areas. Winter is a prime time to overseed as the freezing and thawing provides space for the seeds. Additionally, it is a time of rest for your lawn with no traffic or weeds to interfere. (Starting at $59 +gst)

Power Raking

Power Raking is generally recommended and done in early Spring time, but it can also be beneficial in Fall for properties with severe thatch build up or issues with voles or other pests nesting in and damaging the lawn during the Winter. (Starting at $169 +gst)

  I had a car accident in 2019 and had a severe concussion and other injuries. When I tried to shovel my walk and driveway on my own, it worsened my condition. I needed to find help and have someone take care of the snow and mowing for me. I reached out to Legendary Lawns and have never looked back. To me, they work at the speed of magic! In the winter, my walk and driveway are cleared by the time I walk out the door. In the summer, my lawn is the best-looking on my street (no joke). They have worked with me in good times and bad.   We were looking for Spring Maintenance only.  for our yard and found Legendary Lawns. Right from initial online contact to completion of services, this team has been extremely professional and terrific to deal with. Nicola making the arrangements for booking communicated effectively and timely especially when the weather dictated a schedule change. And when Nicola texted that the team would be here on Friday thru a specific time line, they showed up in that scheduled time. The team of 3 grounds crew were diligent in completely the yard work in timely fashion, and for me, even went above and beyond by cleaning out leaves from last fall in the drainage ditch at the back of the yard!!
Amazing job done to all and I would highly recommend them for your Spring Clean up.

Do you offer any sod, gardening, gutter cleaning, or any other services not listed on the site?

No, sorry we focus on providing exceptional basic lawn care/maintenance and snow removal services for our NW Calgary clients. If you think it’s something that we could easily do during one of your scheduled services you can always ask us, and we may at least have someone we can refer you to with more expertise in the particular service you’re interested in.

How soon can you get my lawn service done?

We do our best to schedule every property in as soon as possible and accommodate specific requests when possible during the busy season, but obviously we need to ensure our regular long-term and year-round customers get priority. Please send us your address when you contact us for a free quote so we can give you an accurate quote and let you know when we could fit your property into our schedule.

What payment methods do you accept?

Credit card payments are accepted online through the invoice that you will receive by email.
E-transfers can be sent to Contact@LLawns.ca (set to auto deposit so you don’t need a password)
Cheques can be mailed to the address on the invoice

Can I cancel my service?

Of course. There are no contracts or commitments for our Fall lawn services, and all payment is after service completion. If for any reason you aren’t satisfied with our services, let us know and we will make it right.

Do you offer any discounts?

We offer the best rates for our returning customers, as well as if you sign up early. We provide a free mow / $30 off your service if you successfully refer another lawn customer,

Do you pick up dog waste?

Unfortunately, we don’t offer any dog waste removal services at this time. Please ensure that all dog waste is removed from the property prior to your service visit. Dog waste impacts our crews ability to properly perform a service. If there is dog waste on the lawn, at their discretion, they may leave and you will still be billed for the service visit. Feel free to let us know any special instructions regarding gates that need to stay closed or locked for your pets.
