Power Raking - Also Called “Dethatching”
Power raking removes a layer of dead grass from your lawn, making room for new, healthy growth. This service gives your yard a professionally cleaned look that would take all day raking by hand. Recommended yearly or every second year. Most of our customers have it done every year, and our professional lawn technicians adjusts the depth based on the conditions and needs of your property. (Starting at $169 +gst)
Core Aeration
Removes small plugs from your lawn, reducing compaction, and allowing water, air, and nutrients to reach your lawn’s roots. One of the most essential steps to making or maintaining a legendary looking lawn. If you’re only going to get one service done for your yard, every professional lawn care technician would tell you – aerate. (Starting at $89 +gst)
Spring Clean-Up
This full service is all the essentials for getting your yard cleaned up and your lawn on track to look lush, green, and healthy after a long calgary winter. (Starting at $279 +gst)
Overseeding
Heavy application of premium grass seed product over your lawn. It helps to fill in thin lawns or sparse/damaged areas of your yard. Overseeding works best in either spring or fall, and when added onto our other spring lawn care services. Specifically added to aerating and/or power raking helps to ensure good soil contact and a higher germination success rate. (Add on service starting at $59 +gst)

Due to unpredictable weather we do not schedule exact dates / times for our Spring services far in advance, but we will let you know realistic timelines for completion and will always contact you in advance to confirm the time our crew will be working at your property (we will never show up unannounced!).

No, all of our services include removal of yard waste bags for composting – no need to worry about waiting for the city to pick up an unsightly pile of bags at the end of your driveway or an overflowing greenbin.
However, we do offer the opportunity for you to save $15-50 to leave the bags at your property green bin for city pickup if you would like.
Our spring cleanup service includes hand raking / bagging/ removal of thatch, lawn clippings, leaves, and light debris from all turf areas. Blowing out and cleaning up additional non lawn areas such as hedges or garden beds can be added to your service for an additional charge if requested. It’s often difficult to price exactly without seeing in person, so feel free to ask us in person or we can take a quick look next time we’re in the area and send you a quote (or texting/emailing us pictures helps us get back to you right away).
Any small amounts of leaves on rock beds or walkways that we can easily be blown onto the lawn and raked up in a short amount of time will often included in your service for no extra charge. But it is never guaranteed unless you ask us.
We usually offer our spring services for about a month beginning in mid April until mid or late May depending on the spring weather we’re having that particular year.
Yes, if you’ve booked an aeration service for your lawn you should make sure to mark any sprinkler heads (using flags or any object that will be easily noticeable for our crew). Or you can let us know if your irrigation system’s sprinkler heads are all near the edges of your lawn and we can just make sure to stay a safe distance off of your lawn’s perimeter (aerators are big, awkward machines that are difficult to get very close to walls/fences/trees etc. anyway).
No it’s not a problem if you aren’t home while we work at your property, as long as we can access all areas of your yard (please let us know if you have any special instructions for accessing your property such as locked gates). We’ll leave a doorhanger detailing the services completed and send an invoice by email that you can pay by credit card online, interac e-transfer, or mailed cheque
